Privacy
Deze verklaring beschrijft de huidige desktopversie van Seagull Simulator: Leiden, de website en de bijbehorende weerservice. Pointiful is verantwoordelijk voor deze verwerkingen: eenmanszaak, KvK 61164623, Maresingel 44 A, 2316 HC Leiden, Nederland. Vragen of privacyverzoeken kun je sturen naar stijn@pointiful.com.
Spelstanden op je computer
Het spel vraagt geen apart Pointiful-account. Voortgang, opgeslagen spelstanden en instellingen staan lokaal op je computer. De huidige spelcode uploadt deze gegevens niet naar Pointiful. Lokale gegevens blijven bewaard totdat je ze reset, overschrijft of verwijdert. Verwijdering van de game wist niet noodzakelijk alle lokale instellingen.
Er is geen eigen systeem voor spelersprofielen of gameplay-analyse bij Pointiful ingericht. Unity Analytics, advertenties en cloudcrashrapportage zijn in de huidige projectinstellingen uitgeschakeld.
Optioneel: realtimeweer
Als je realtimeweer in de sandbox aanzet, vraagt het spel ongeveer iedere vijf minuten vaste weergegevens voor Leiden op via seagull.pointiful.com/api/weer.json. Het verzoek bevat geen spelstand, spelersnaam of precieze locatie van de speler. De game vraagt hiervoor geen GPS-toegang. Bij uitschakelen stopt het ophalen.
Zoals bij een gewoon websitebezoek ontvangt de server wel technische verbindingsgegevens: het IP-adres, tijdstip, opgevraagde adres, antwoordstatus en de clientinformatie die met het verzoek wordt meegestuurd. Dat is nodig om het verzoek te beantwoorden en technische fouten of misbruik te onderzoeken.
Website en technische logs
Op seagullsimulator.com gebruikt Pointiful Google Analytics 4 voor bezoekstatistieken als je daarvoor toestemming geeft. Google ontvangt dan gegevens over de bezochte pagina, het bezoek en je browser en plaatst Analytics-cookies. Deze gegevens helpen ons te zien welke pagina’s worden bezocht. Advertentiefuncties staan uit. Via Cookie-instellingen onderaan de pagina kun je je toestemming op elk moment intrekken. Je keuze wordt lokaal in je browser bewaard. Op seagull.pointiful.com staat deze bezoekmeting uit. De webserver legt technische verzoekgegevens vast voor de werking, beveiliging en het onderzoeken van fouten. Wij gebruiken deze logs niet om advertentieprofielen te maken.
De server gebruikt dagelijkse logrotatie en bewaart maximaal veertien oudere logbestanden naast het lopende bestand. Lege bestanden worden niet geroteerd; daardoor hangt de kalenderduur van deze bewaring mede af van het verkeer. Deze criteria beschrijven de huidige serverinstelling, geen vaste termijn van veertien kalenderdagen.
Contact en dienstverleners
Als je mailt, verwerken wij je e-mailadres en de informatie die je zelf meestuurt om je vraag of verzoek af te handelen. Stuur alleen informatie mee die nodig is. Spel- en foutlogbestanden worden niet automatisch naar Pointiful verstuurd. Als je ze zelf meestuurt, kunnen daarin technische systeemgegevens of lokale bestandspaden staan.
Correspondentie wordt bewaard zolang die nodig is voor de afhandeling en rechtstreeks samenhangende vervolgvragen; bij een geschil of wettelijke verplichting kan verdere bewaring nodig zijn. Hosting- en e-maildienstverleners verwerken gegevens voor het leveren van die diensten aan Pointiful. Wij verkopen deze gegevens niet.
Bij kopen, downloaden of installeren via een externe winkel verwerkt die winkel account-, aankoop- en betaalgegevens onder de eigen privacyverklaring. Deze verklaring beschrijft de game en Pointiful-diensten; zij vervangt de verklaring van die winkel niet.
Doel, grondslag en rechten
Het leveren van gevraagde gamefuncties en ondersteuning gebeurt voor de uitvoering van de overeenkomst of om op jouw verzoek hulp te bieden. Voor beperkte technische logging gebruiken wij het gerechtvaardigde belang om de dienst betrouwbaar en veilig te houden en fouten te onderzoeken.
Je kunt vragen om inzage, correctie, verwijdering of beperking van de verwerking en, waar van toepassing, overdraagbaarheid van gegevens. Je kunt bezwaar maken tegen verwerking op basis van een gerechtvaardigd belang. Mail hiervoor naar stijn@pointiful.com. Je kunt ook een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Lokale spelstanden zijn bij Pointiful niet beschikbaar; je beheert die op je eigen computer.
Bij wijzigingen aan de gegevensverwerking passen wij deze verklaring aan. De datum bovenaan vermeldt de huidige versie.

Save data on your computer
The game does not require a separate Pointiful account. Progress, saved games and settings are stored locally on your computer. The current game code does not upload them to Pointiful. Local data remains until you reset, overwrite or delete it. Uninstalling the game does not necessarily remove all local settings.
Pointiful has no player profiling or gameplay analytics system in place. Unity Analytics, advertising and cloud crash reporting are disabled in the current project settings.
Optional real-time weather
If you enable real-time weather in the sandbox, the game requests fixed weather information for Leiden from seagull.pointiful.com/api/weer.json approximately every five minutes. Requests contain no save data, player name or precise player location. The game does not request GPS access for this feature. Turning the feature off stops these requests.
As with an ordinary website visit, the server receives technical connection information: IP address, time, requested address, response status and client information supplied with the request. This is used to serve the request and investigate errors or abuse.
Website and technical logs
On seagullsimulator.com, Pointiful uses Google Analytics 4 for visit statistics if you consent. Google then receives information about the page, visit and browser and sets Analytics cookies. We use these data to see which pages are visited. Advertising features are disabled. You can withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. This measurement is disabled on seagull.pointiful.com. The web server records technical request information to operate and secure the service and investigate errors. We do not use these logs to create advertising profiles.
The server uses daily log rotation, keeping up to fourteen older log files alongside the current file. Empty files are not rotated, so the calendar duration also depends on traffic. These criteria describe the current server configuration; they do not mean a fixed retention period of fourteen calendar days.
Contact and service providers
If you email us, we process your email address and information you provide to handle your question or request. Please send only what is needed. Game and error logs are not automatically sent to Pointiful. If you choose to send them, they may include technical system information or local file paths.
Correspondence is retained as needed to handle the matter and directly related follow-up questions. A dispute or legal obligation may require further retention. Hosting and email providers process information to provide those services to Pointiful. We do not sell this information.
When you purchase, download or install through an external store, that store processes account, purchase and payment information under its own privacy notice. This notice covers the game and Pointiful services and does not replace the store's notice.
Purposes, legal bases and your rights
Requested game features and support are provided to perform our agreement or respond to your request for assistance. Limited technical logging relies on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service and investigating faults.
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact stijn@pointiful.com. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Pointiful does not have access to your local save data; you manage it on your own computer.
We update this notice when processing changes. The date above identifies the current version.
